This unique home situated along the North Saskatchewan river with city skyline views was originally designed by a commercial designer. The homeowners asked us to bring about a change in the materials, namely the hardwood, tile and kitchen backsplash that left them longing for more light and distinction between spaces. The project required detailed discovery with the clients to ensure that the overall aesthetic direction could be achieved while only working with specific and limited elements.
The dining banquette is a new space that represents a truly original design concept, artfully blurring the boundaries between residential utility and the chic sophistication of a moody New York lounge. Modern patterns mix with metallic leathers, beneath a chandelier that illuminates intimate dinners or casual family breakfasts in this welcoming and stylish home.
