Legends

We were commissioned to reimagine a spacious three-bedroom condo on an upper floor of Edmonton’s prestigious Legends building located in the Ice District. Our goal was to craft a design that introduced a timeless, traditional sensibility, adding depth and personality to a contemporary condo setting. Designed as a luxurious base for an out-of-town executive, the space seamlessly blends sophistication and functionality, thoughtfully crafted to accommodate family visits and entertaining in style.

The kitchen features a stunning honed Calacutta Cielo marble with blues, caramels, and creamy whites, subtly nodding to Edmonton’s hockey culture and creating a colour story for the owner’s collection of sports memorabilia. Adjacent to the kitchen island, a custom banquette with rich caramel leather offers cozy yet elegant seating defined by a coveted piece from the owner’s collection. The large dining table, strategically placed as the first feature visible upon entering, sets the tone for the condo’s inviting and refined ambiance.

The living room showcases custom oak paneling to elevate the television wall, paired with draperies that soften the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. Throughout the suite, a completely redesigned lighting plan with all-new fixtures highlights every thoughtfully crafted detail and defines spaces within the larger, open concept floor plan.

The powder room features walls adorned in a luxurious grasscloth wall covering, with a silky light blue colour that exudes understated elegance and adds a subtle layer of depth and sophistication to the space. To complete the transformation, the suite was repainted with favourite Farrow & Ball hues, including the rich "Cardamom" in the bedroom, creating an elegant owner's retreat. The walk-in closet underwent a dramatic transformation, replacing an impractical and generic closet with a fully custom vanity crafted from custom-stained oak, providing both beauty and practicality.

Every element of the design was chosen to elevate the space into a haven of style, comfort, and seamless functionality.
