Meet Stephenson House

Our services are rooted in providing our clients with an exceptional level of service and superior results. The difference is in the details ; design complexity, exclusive products, sustainable design, efficient processes and a team that will give your project our all.

CEO & Principal Designer

Katie Menon

Inspired by a lifetime of global travels and her love of fashion, Katie believes in challenging the design status quo.

With every project, she looks to create a new standard of excellence for her clients, for herself, and for the city of Edmonton. Marked by quality and expert curation, Katie’s design work is characterized by well-edited layers, classic forms and European sophistication. Her ability to see the complete picture and to incorporate design elements in a distinctive manner is what sets her work apart. By combining high-quality fabrics, luxurious finishes, thoughtful details, and furnishings ranging from classic to contemporary, she designs interiors that are sophisticated and timeless.

Katie launched Stephenson House in 2017, and was later accepted to the prestigious New York School of Interior Design. There, she received specialized training from world-class design experts, placing Stephenson House among an exclusive group of design firms worldwide. Under Katie’s leadership, Stephenson House now maintains an ever-growing reputation for outstanding service and design excellence.

An avid tennis player and a dual citizen of Canada and Great Britain, Katie lives in Edmonton with her husband and two daughters.

Design Tip:

True luxury in design isn’t just what meets the eye. It’s how an interior functions so well for your personal routines that it actually makes your daily life easier and more enjoyable.

Associate Designer

Morgan Perry

Prior to joining Stephenson House, Morgan worked for her father’s luxury home building company, gaining an insider’s view into the process of creating custom spaces from the ground up. She later earned a diploma in Interior Design Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, specializing in space planning and design development.

As an Associate Designer with Stephenson House, Morgan works closely with Katie, drafting plans, sourcing products, communicating with clients, and helping to keep projects running smoothly.

Morgan stays energized for the demands of client projects with early morning yoga sessions and running the river valley.

Design Tip:

Project drawings are invaluable. Not only do they help you visualize what you’re working towards, having the destination in place (and in print) also ensures everyone on your project’s team has the same guidepost for achieving your project’s goals.

Associate Designer

Jennifer Lansdall

Jennifer’s appreciation for design started with the best designer of all – mother nature. Inspired by landscapes and architecture, her earliest career work was in the field of landscape management. She now boasts two relevant diplomas to the field of design, including Interior Design Technologist, as well as seven years of industry experience. It is no wonder she is at the forefront of our firm’s Renovations division.

Jennifer effortlessly navigates our complex projects with her extensive knowledge of residential construction and luxury materials. Her patient, yet decisive disposition makes her  every client’s dream project manager.

On the weekends, Jennifer takes every opportunity for a quick trip to the mountains or wine country for more of that organic inspiration where it all started.

Design Tip:

Good design takes time. Taking your vision from concept to reality involves a lot more than most people think. The earlier you can bring your design team onto the project, the better!

Operations Manager

Sherice Salvador

With twelve years of retail management experience, Sherice leads all things retail and operations related for the Stephenson House brand.

Exceptionally suited to her role, Sherice’s friendly persona and never-ending charisma are the real reasons why she makes such an impact on our team.

Sherice recently moved back to Edmonton after spending the last three years living abroad with her husband and two children.

Design Tip:

Knowing when, where and how to break the rules of design is where the moments of true originality occur.
