Welcome to our Love & Linen project in the prestigious Jagare Ridge neighborhood of south Edmonton. This elevated, European-inspired, modern farmhouse concept is filled with custom details that ooze luxury and timeless taste. The open concept bungalow guided our furniture and decor decisions knowing that a lifestyle of entertaining and socializing was of upmost importance to our lovely clients. We designed custom, bench seat sofas that face each other in living room so that the space remains open to the kitchen island seating. This unique furniture placement is a defining feature of this great room. The solid, yet exquisite shape of the sofas perfectly balance the openness created by the vaulted ceiling. Given the height of this space we ensured the scale on the furniture was perfectly proportioned. The oversized coffee table, topped with the largest and lushest bouquet of peonies, anchors the room.
The dining room at Love and Linen is another example of our love for the unexpected. The chic and clean finishes of this paired back farmhouse design allowed us to play around with unique elements. Adding a combination of dining chairs in unique textures like the woven chair, give the space a flare in personality. The smaller details like the monochromatic roman shade, or the unusual art placement curated by our expert team of designers and art handlers is what ties the space together.
This office is one of our personal favourites. A perfect harmony of masculine and feminine give majour eye appeal to guests as soon as they enter the house. Textural components like the patterned velvet chair, 100% linen drapery, wool rug and solid stained woods give this space a layered look of inspired design without overwhelming the room.
